The Love Handles are a Doylestown-based acoustic duo who have been playing together for nearly 20 years. They play an eclectic mix of covers with some originals scattered in for good measure. Matt Ruddell hails from southern California where he basked in the power pop of Queen, Fastball, and Jellyfish. Tony grew up in New England following the Grateful Dead up and down the east coast and later taking the alt-country offramp. They both share a love of harmony, great songwriting, and the occasional ripping guitar lick while staying true to the original intent of the songs they cover. You’ll hear a blend of all of this in their originals as well.
