Let's get together
All EventsKids Earth Day Festival
As part of Earth Month, we're hosting a delightful afternoon filled with eco-friendly activities and fun for kids of all ages.
For just $10 (*all proceeds go to Rolling Harvest Food Rescue), kids can enjoy all activities at the festival! Pay $10 at the entrance to the yard and kids get a wrist band. Please note that this donation does not include the Kids Yoga session.
Activities include:
- Paper Making with Seeds and Petals: Learn to make your own paper with Fiona! Take home your unique creation embedded with seeds and petals.
- Insect House Filling Station: Fill a wooden box with pre-gathered, bug-friendly materials and create your own bug hotel to take home.
- Seed Planting Station: Plant a seed to nurture at home and watch it grow into something beautiful.
From 1:30-2pm, dive into a Kids Yoga session led by our wonderful instructor Johanna Abud, certified in "Kidding Around Yoga"!
Kidding Around Yoga is a style specifically designed for children, incorporating fun and interactive elements into traditional yoga poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques. Kids yoga session is $12 and can be paid online prior to the event or paid in person as a walk-in www.dbums/events
Plus, enjoy free face painting, bubbles, and uplifting music to fill the air! Let's celebrate our planet and support a great cause together! Don't miss this fantastic Earth Day event!
*All proceeds from this event will go to Rolling Harvest Food Rescue, a local charity organization. Since 2010, Rolling Harvest has been focused on partnering with local farmers, making it easy for them to share their fresh, healthy produce with food-insecure communities. They assist with daily pick-up and delivery schedules from 43 farms and food producers, distribute to more than 80 hunger relief sites weekly, and glean (harvest) directly from farm partners’ fields.
