Baffle the Cat is an instrumental jazz-jam band trio from South Philly (guitar/bass/drums). They play originals and a few jazz standards. They have been called "intellectual music", prog rock, and jazz. They are musicians' musicians and their music encompasses both improvisation and structure. Baffle the Cat will challenge its listeners and tickle the musician within. Established 2007.
